Not sure what to put on your profile, or which sections to add? Guided setup answers that for you. It asks a few quick questions, then builds the sections your profile needs. You answer, and each answer drops a real section onto your profile while you watch. It's a fast way to get a profile going when you don't know where to start. It's no trouble.

Before you start

You need to own the profile you're setting up. Guided setup lives in the Designer, the screen where you build and arrange your profile. It works best on a fresh profile, but you can run it any time.

The questions and choices are tuned to your profile type, so a coach sees different options than a café. Nothing you pick here goes live on its own. You publish when you're ready.

Have NoTrouble suggest sections and build your profile

  1. Open your profile in the Designer. From your profiles list, find the profile and choose Edit In Designer.
  2. In the left panel, select Settings. It's the button with the gear icon.
  3. In the panel that opens, find the Guided setup card.
  4. Select Start guided setup.

The Settings panel closes and the guided setup questions take over the screen.

Choosing your action button

The first question sets your profile's action button, the button visitors reach for first. Guided setup asks it in plain words: When someone lands on your page, what should they do? Your choices are things like booking a slot, getting in touch, or following you.

  • You'll see the choices as cards. Select the one that fits, and guided setup moves on.
  • If your profile already has an action button, it shows at the top under Your current action. Select Keep this to leave it as is, or pick a card under Or switch to to change it.
  • Not sure yet? Select Skip for now. You can set the action button later.

Answering the section questions

After the action button, guided setup asks about two sections, one question at a time. The first is Section 1 · Show what you do, and the second is Section 2 · Build trust. Each question offers two or three cards, and each card shows a small preview of the section it will build.

  1. Read the question at the top, like How do you want to show your work?
  2. Select the card that fits best.
  3. The page scrolls to the new section and builds it in front of you. A short note explains what you added.
  4. The next question appears. Answer it the same way.

The dots at the top of each question show how far along you are.

Skipping a question

You don't have to answer every question. To move past one, select Skip this one, or Skip for now on the action button question. Guided setup goes to the next step and skips building that section. You can always add that kind of section by hand later.

While a section is building, you can also tap the screen to jump straight to the end of that build. Look for the Tap to skip hint near the bottom.

Finishing with your checklist

When the questions are done, you'll see a short list titled Your page has its bones, with the note Nothing is live yet. This is your checklist. Each row is one thing guided setup started for you and left ready to finish.

  • Select a row to jump to that section and make it yours. Add your own words, photos, or details.
  • A row gets a check mark once you've given it real content.
  • When you're done for now, select I'll take it from here to close the checklist.

You don't have to finish every row in one sitting. Come back whenever you like.

The sections it added are yours to keep or change

Everything guided setup builds is an ordinary section, the same as one you'd add yourself. There's nothing special or locked about it.

  • Keep a section as is, edit its content, or reorder it with the rest.
  • Remove any section you don't want. It won't break the others.
  • The starter text guided setup drops in is a placeholder. Replace it with your own.

So feel free to experiment. If a section isn't right for you, delete it and move on.

Nothing goes live until you publish

Guided setup builds your sections in the Designer only. Visitors don't see any of it yet, which is why the checklist says Nothing is live yet. Fill in the sections you want, then publish your profile to show them to the world. Until you publish, you can change or remove anything with no one watching.

Reopening guided setup later

You don't have to finish in one go. When guided setup is closed, a round button with a sparkles icon sits in the bottom right corner of the Designer.

  • Select it to reopen your checklist and pick up where you left off.
  • If a number shows on the button, that's how many checklist steps are still waiting.

You can also start it again from the Guided setup card in the Settings panel.

Pick up where you left off?

If guided setup already added sections to this profile, starting it again shows a question first: Pick up where you left off? It tells you how many sections it found. You have two choices:

  • Rebuild my checklist: bring those sections back as your checklist, so you can finish them. Nothing new is added.
  • Start over: run the questions fresh. Any new sections are added alongside the ones already there, so you may end up with more than one of a kind. You can remove the extras.

Pick Rebuild my checklist if you want to finish what you started. Pick Start over if you want a clean run.

I don't see the guided setup button

Guided setup shows up in the Settings panel of the Designer, and as a sparkles button in the bottom right corner. If you can't find it, make sure you're in the Designer for a profile you own, not the live page or another settings screen.

If the page is still loading, give it a moment. The sparkles button appears once the Designer is ready. You can always add sections by hand instead.
