Add your logo to your profile
Updated June 9, 2026
Your logo sits at the top of your profile, right next to your name, and it's the first thing most visitors notice. You add it in the Designer, in the Header panel. The preview updates as you go, and nothing is public until you publish. For the sharpest result, use a clear PNG with a see-through background.
Before you start
You add your logo in the Designer, the panel where you change how your profile looks. You'll need a profile already made and your logo image ready on your computer or phone.
Want a big Book Now, Contact, or Call button at the top instead? That's the action button, and it lives in the same Header panel. See add a Call, Email, or Directions button for that.
Adding your logo
Your logo lives in the Header panel of the Designer.
- Open your profile and select Edit In Designer.
- In the left sidebar, find the Header layer near the top.
- Select the pencil icon next to it. The Header panel opens.
- Turn on Show logo.
- Under it, select Select to open the Choose Media window.
The Choose Media window is where you pick or add an image. The next section covers uploading.
Uploading your logo
Once the Choose Media window is open, you can add a fresh image or reuse one.
- In the Choose Media window, select Upload, then pick your logo file.
- Or pick an image you've used before from the grid below.
You can also drag an image straight onto the upload area. The moment it lands, your logo appears in the preview at the top of your profile. Want a different one later? Select Select again. To take it off, select Remove on the logo image.
Your logo stays a private preview until you publish. Select Publish profile (or Publish changes) in the top toolbar to make it live.
Setting a background color behind your logo
By default your logo shows on its own, with nothing behind it. Want a panel of color behind it? Set the logo's Variant color.
- On the preview, select your logo. A small toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen.
- In that toolbar, select the round Variant color button.
- Pick a color, or paste a hex code like
#FFFFFFfor white.
The color fills the space behind your logo right away in the preview. Pick Variant again anytime to change it. Remember to publish when you're happy.
My logo isn't showing
A few things can hide a logo. Walk through these in order.
- Open the Header panel and check that Show logo is turned on.
- Make sure an image is actually picked under it. If the slot is empty, the Select button shows nothing to display.
- A logo with a see-through background can vanish against a matching color. Try setting the logo's Variant color behind it. Select your logo on the preview, then pick the round Variant color button in the toolbar.
- You may not have published since adding it. Select Publish profile in the top toolbar.
Why does my logo have a solid box behind it?
A transparent background means the area around your logo is see-through, so it sits cleanly on any color. PNG files hold that transparency. JPG files cannot, which is why a JPG logo always drags a solid block along behind it.
For the best result:
- Save your logo as a PNG with a transparent background before you upload it.
- After it's up, if it's hard to see, set a Variant background color behind it so it stands out. Select your logo on the preview, then pick the round Variant color button in the toolbar.
We can't make a JPG see-through for you. If your logo came as a JPG with a white box around it, ask whoever made it for a transparent PNG version.
Using your logo's colors on your profile
When you upload a logo, we pull a color palette from it. You'll find those colors in the Colors panel, under the From Logo group, ready to apply across your whole profile. See your profile's colors to use them.
My logo won't upload
Most uploads that stall are too large or the wrong type.
- Too large. The Choose Media window shows the size limit per file, like "Up to 10 MB per file." If your file is bigger, you'll see a message that starts "File too large." It names your plan and its limit (for example, "Your Free plan allows files up to 10MB"), shows your file's size, and suggests an upgrade. Save a smaller version, or upgrade your plan for a higher limit.
- Out of room. If you've filled your plan's storage, you'll see "Storage limit reached." Remove some old media, or upgrade for more space.
- Wrong type. Use a common image type like PNG or JPG. PNG is best for a logo with a transparent background.
If a logo was already up, a rejected upload leaves it in place, so you won't lose it.
