Publish your profile and save drafts

Updated June 8, 2026

Your profile stays private until you publish it. Publishing makes it live so anyone with the link can see it. You can also save your work as a draft and keep editing without going live yet. It's no trouble.

Before you start

You need to own the profile. You can publish from the Designer, the screen where you build your profile, or from your profile's settings.

Publishing your profile

Most people publish from the Designer:

  1. Open your profile in the Designer. From your profiles list, find the profile and choose Edit In Designer.
  2. Make the changes you want.
  3. Select the Publish profile button. It sits in the toolbar.

Once your profile is live, the button changes to Published with a checkmark. After that, when you make more edits, the button reads Publish changes so you can push the new work live.

You can also publish from settings. Go to Settings, turn on the Published toggle, and choose Save changes.

Saving a draft without going live

A draft lets you save edits and come back later, without showing them to visitors yet.

  1. In the Designer, make your changes.
  2. Open the menu next to the publish button.
  3. Choose Save as draft.

Your work is saved. You'll see a short confirmation. Your live profile stays as it was until you publish.

Coming back to a saved draft

  1. In the Designer, open the menu next to the publish button.
  2. Choose Drafts & history. A panel opens.
  3. To keep editing your saved draft, choose Resume editing. Your draft's changes load back into the editor.
  4. To make the draft live, choose Publish.

Throwing away a draft

In the Drafts & history panel, choose Discard. You'll be asked to confirm, since this can't be undone. It drops the saved changes and leaves your live profile untouched. Use this when you've changed your mind.

Hiding one section or post without unpublishing everything

You don't have to take your whole profile offline to hide one part.

  • To hide a section, open the Designer and select the eye button on that section's row. A line through the eye means it's hidden.
  • To hide a single post, expand its section in the left panel, find the post, and select the eye button on its row. A line through the eye means the post is hidden.

The rest of your profile stays live.

I published but my profile still looks empty to visitors

A live profile with no content has little to show. Check that you've added at least one section with a published post in it. See add and arrange sections and add a post to a section.

Also confirm the sections and posts themselves are shown, not hidden. A hidden section won't appear even when the profile is live.

I made edits but visitors still see the old version

New edits go live only when you publish them. If your profile is already published and the button reads Publish changes, select it to push your latest work live. If you only saved a draft, your edits are stored but not live yet. Publish the draft from Drafts & history.

How do I take my profile offline again?

Go to Settings, turn off the Published toggle, and choose Save changes. Your profile becomes private. Your content is kept, so you can publish again whenever you're ready.
