Delete your account

Updated June 8, 2026

If you want to leave NoTrouble for good, you can delete your account yourself. This removes your data and can't be undone, so we'll walk you through it carefully. We'd also suggest saving a copy of your data first.

Before you start

Deleting is permanent. Once it's done, we can't bring your account or anything in it back.

You'll lose:

  • Every profile you own and all of their content
  • Posts, sections, media, and form submissions
  • Connections, integrations, and API tokens
  • Billing history and active subscriptions

If any of that matters to you, save a copy before you delete. See the next section.

Save a copy of your data first

You can export your account data before deleting it.

  1. Sign in and open your account settings.
  2. Go to the Privacy & Data tab.
  3. Under Data Exports, tick User data.
  4. Select Export.

Your data downloads as an Excel file, usually within a few seconds. This export covers your personal account data, like your email and profile information.

Want your profile content too, such as posts and form submissions? That's a different export, found on the Tools › Data page.

Deleting your account

  1. Sign in and open your account settings.
  2. Go to the Privacy & Data tab.
  3. Scroll to Delete Account and select the Delete Account button.
  4. Read the warning in the Delete your account? window.
  5. In the box, type DELETE exactly, in capital letters.
  6. Select Permanently delete account.

Once it's done, you see a brief "Deleted." note and land back on the sign-in page. Your account is gone.

The delete button is greyed out

The Permanently delete account button stays disabled until you type the confirmation word correctly.

Type DELETE in capitals, with nothing extra around it. No spaces, no lowercase. The button turns on once it matches.

I started a delete and nothing happened

You may see "A deletion request is already in progress." This shows up if you tried to delete more than once in quick succession.

Wait a moment and don't repeat the action. The first request is handling it.

I want to stop before it's final

You can back out at any point before the last step. Select Cancel in the window, or close it, and nothing is deleted.

There's also an export it shortcut in the window if you'd like to save your data before going ahead.

Can I get my account back after deleting?

No. Deletion is permanent, and there's no undo. We can't restore your account or its content once you confirm.

If you only want a break, consider keeping the account and signing out instead of deleting. If you're sure, follow the steps above.

What's normal here

It's normal for the delete button to stay greyed out until you type DELETE correctly. That's a guard against deleting by accident.

It's also normal to be sent to the sign-in page right after. Your account no longer exists, so there's nothing to return to.
