Cancel your subscription

Updated June 8, 2026

Changed your mind about a paid plan? You can cancel any time, and you keep your features until the end of the period you've already paid for. It's no trouble, and you can turn it back on before it ends.

Before you start

You need to be signed in to the account, and you need permission to manage its billing. Canceling stops future charges. It doesn't delete your account or your profile.

Canceling your plan

  1. Open your Billing page.
  2. On the Your Plan card, select Cancel Subscription.
  3. A message asks you to confirm: "Are you sure you want to cancel? You will retain access until the end of your billing period." Confirm it.

You'll see "Subscription canceled. You have access until the end of your billing period." Your plan badge changes to Canceling.

What happens after I cancel

You keep every feature of your paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Your Billing page shows the date your access lasts until, next to "Access until".

When that date passes, your account moves to the Free plan. You won't be charged again. Your profile and your content stay; only the paid-only features turn off.

Changing your mind: resume your plan

If you cancel and then want to keep your plan, you can turn it back on before your access ends:

  1. Open your Billing page.
  2. On the Your Plan card, select Resume Subscription.
  3. A message says your next payment will be charged on the renewal date. Confirm it.

You'll see "Subscription resumed." Your plan goes back to normal, and billing carries on as before.

This option only shows while you're in the Canceling state, before your access ends. After that date, resuming isn't available. To come back, you'd start a new plan. See upgrade to a paid plan.

Can I get a refund?

Your paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and your card isn't charged until the trial ends. So if you cancel during the trial, there's nothing to refund. We also back paid plans with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

We don't have a self-serve refund button. If you were charged and you'd like a refund, contact our support team and we'll help. Reply to any billing email from us, or use the in-app help.

I don't see a Cancel Subscription button

A few reasons this can happen:

  • You may not have billing permission for this account. Ask the account owner to cancel, or to give you billing access.
  • You may already have canceled. If your plan badge shows Canceling, you're set, and you'll see Resume Subscription instead.
  • You may be on the Free plan, which has nothing to cancel.

I canceled by mistake

No harm done. As long as you're still in the Canceling state, open your Billing page and select Resume Subscription to turn your plan back on. Your features never went away.
