Your weekly views email and milestone celebrations
Updated June 9, 2026
We send two kinds of insights email. One is a weekly recap of how your profile did over the past seven days. The other is a quick high-five when your total views cross a round number. This page explains what each email is, who gets it, and how to turn it off. It's no trouble either way.
These emails go to the account owner, and they only count views of a profile that's published. Want the same numbers without waiting for Monday? They live on the Reports page, which is free on every plan.
What is this weekly views email?
It's a short recap of your profile's last seven days, sent once a week. The subject line usually reads like "240 views this week on Your Profile Name". Hit a milestone or a personal best in a given week, and the subject leads with that win instead. So it might say something like "500 profile views and counting" rather than starting with "N views this week".
Inside, you'll find:
- Views for the week, with whether that's up, down, or steady against the week before.
- Clicks on your links and buttons, with the same trend.
- Click-through rate: the share of viewers who clicked something.
- Top links this week: up to five of your most-clicked links, each with its click count.
At the bottom sits a See the full report button. Click it to open your Reports page, where the same numbers live in more detail.
The email goes out early Monday (around 8am UTC). You'll only get it for a profile that picked up at least one view in the past seven days. A quiet week means no email that week. That's normal.
Why did I get a "500 profile views" email?
That's a milestone email, and it's a good thing. Your profile crossed a round number of total views since you started, so we sent a quick note to mark it. The subject line reads "500 profile views and counting".
We celebrate these totals:
Each milestone sends once, and you won't get a repeat for the same number. We check daily, so if you blow past two milestones in a single day, you'll get the email for the higher one.
The email carries a See your reports button that opens your Reports page. From there, you can see where the traffic came from.
Where does "Top links this week" come from?
It's the same data you see on your Reports page. We count every click on your links and buttons over the week, then list the five most-clicked ones in the email, each with its click count.
Want the full list? Open your Reports page and find the Top links & forms table. It shows your most-clicked links for the period you pick, along with any form submissions. The email gives you the weekly highlights; the Reports page lets you change the time range and dig deeper.
If the table reads "No clicks or form submissions yet.", then nobody has clicked a link in that range. Once people start clicking, your links fill in.
How do I turn off the weekly insights email?
Both insights emails fall under the Recommendations topic. Switch that off and they stop.
- Sign in to your account.
- Open your account's Notifications tab.
- Find the Recommendations row.
- Switch off the toggle in the Email column.
The change saves on its own, and a Changes saved note appears. From then on, no more weekly recap and no more milestone emails. You can switch Recommendations back on whenever you like. For more on this grid, see choosing which emails you get.
Turning off the email doesn't touch your numbers. Your views and clicks keep tracking, and your Reports page stays up to date.
I'm not getting the weekly report email
If Monday comes and no recap arrives, one of these is usually why:
- Your profile isn't published. We only send for a live profile. Publish it, and the next weekly run will include it.
- No views in the past seven days. A profile with zero views that week gets no email. Once visitors come back, so does the recap.
- You're not the account owner. These emails go to the owner of the account, not to other members. Ask the owner to forward it, or check the numbers yourself on the Reports page.
- Recommendations is switched off. Turn off the Recommendations topic for email, and both insights emails stop. To fix it, open your Notifications tab and switch the Email toggle back on for Recommendations.
Still nothing after checking all four? Have a look in your spam or promotions folder, since recap emails can land there.
What's normal here
The weekly email runs once a week, early Monday (around 8am UTC). It isn't instant, so a view from Sunday night still counts toward Monday's recap.
Milestone emails are a one-time celebration per number. Crossing 500 views sends one email, and that's the last you'll hear about 500. The next note comes when you reach 1,000.
Switched Recommendations off? Then silence is expected. Nothing is broken; you chose not to get these. Your Reports page always has the full picture, whether the emails are on or off.
