We give you one page, your profile, to hold your links, posts, and everything you want people to find. This guide gets you signed up and live. Once you're in, you can build out your profile in 15 minutes. It only takes a few minutes, and nothing goes public until you're ready. New to all of this? The getting started collection lays out the whole path.

Creating your account

Go to the sign-up page and enter your details. Select Continue. If you already have an account, select Already have an account? Sign in to reach the sign-in page instead.

Confirming your email

Before you can set up your profile, we need to check your email address. We send you a link, so open that email and select the link inside. If it doesn't arrive in a minute or two, check your spam folder, or select Resend Verification Email on the confirmation screen.

Setting up your profile

After you confirm your email, a short setup walks you through the basics. You'll:

  1. Tell us what brings you to NoTrouble, and agree to the terms.
  2. Add a photo and a name for your profile. We use your name to build your web address, so pick something you like. You can change it later.
  3. Pick your colors.
  4. Choose your layout.

Take your time here. Nothing is public yet, and you can change any of it whenever you like.

Borrowing colors from your current website

While you add your name, we ask, "Do you already have a website?" If you do, answer Yes, type your website's address, and tell us what it's built with. We take a quick look at your site and pull out its brand colors. Those show up as a ready-made Brand Colors choice when you reach the colors step, so your profile starts out looking like you. Rather start fresh? Answer No. Either way, these are only a starting point, and you can change every color later.

This website scan happens during signup only. If you skip it or answer No, we can't scan your site later, and there's no way to redo it from the Designer. Don't worry, though: you can always pick your colors by hand, or pull a set from your avatar, cover, or logo whenever you like.

Publishing your profile

At the end of setup, select Publish to make your profile live. Not ready yet? Select Save draft and come back when you are.

Your profile is now online at your-handle.notrouble.com, ready to share with anyone.

Your profile starts out bare, so the next move is to fill it in. The full walkthrough lives in build out your profile in 15 minutes, which adds your links, bio, socials, and sections in order. You do all of it in the Designer.

Changing your web address

Your handle is the your-handle part of your address. We create it from your profile name, but you can change it any time:

  1. Open your profile Settings.
  2. Find the Handle field and enter the one you want.

Handles can use letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores. A few words are reserved, so if one isn't available, try another.
