Put your link in your Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook bio

Updated June 9, 2026

One NoTrouble profile holds all your links, so your social bio only needs one address: yours. Paste it once in each app, and every follower lands on the same tidy page. Here's how to add it on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Before you start

You need your profile link copied and ready to paste. Open the Share panel and tap Copy to grab it (see share your profile for the full steps). You'll see "Link copied to clipboard!" when it's on your clipboard. Each social app keeps its own bio, so you paste the same link in each one.

One link for all my socials

That's the whole point of a NoTrouble profile. Instead of choosing one link for Instagram and a different one for TikTok, you point every bio at your profile. Your profile then lists all your links, socials, and content in one place. Add or swap a link there, and every social bio updates without you touching the apps again. No re-editing, no fiddling. Copy your link once, then paste it in each bio below.

Add my link to Instagram bio

Instagram lets you edit your bio link only in the phone app, not on a computer. Have your link copied first.

  1. Open the Instagram app and tap your profile picture at the bottom to go to your profile.
  2. Tap Edit profile, found below your bio.
  3. Tap Links.
  4. Tap Add external link.
  5. Paste your NoTrouble link into the URL field.
  6. Add a short title if you like, such as your name or "All my links". This is the text people tap.
  7. Tap the checkmark in the top corner to save.

Your link now shows under your bio. Tap it yourself to check it opens your profile.

Where do I paste my profile link on Instagram

In the app, tap Edit profile, then Links, then Add external link. The box you paste into is labelled URL. After you save, the link appears right under your bio as a tappable button. If you ever want to swap it, go back to Links and edit or remove the one that's there.

Link in bio for TikTok

TikTok shows a Website field in your profile editor when your account can hold a clickable link. Like Instagram, you do this in the phone app.

  1. Open the TikTok app and tap Profile at the bottom right.
  2. Tap Edit profile, below your name.
  3. Look for the Website field and tap it.
  4. Paste your NoTrouble link.
  5. Tap Save.

Your link shows as a tappable button on your profile. TikTok allows one website link, and your single NoTrouble link is all you need.

I don't see the Website field on TikTok

The Website field shows up once your account qualifies for a clickable bio link. TikTok ties this to your account type and following, and the rules change over time. A Business or Creator account usually gets the link sooner. To switch, open TikTok Settings and privacy, then Account, then Switch to Business Account.

Until the field appears, you can still type your link as plain text in your bio. It won't be tappable, so people copy and paste it instead. Annoying, but it works. Your link opens fine the moment they reach it.

Put my NoTrouble link on Facebook

Facebook calls these bio links your websites, and you can add more than one. You can do this in the app or on a computer.

In the Facebook app:

  1. Tap your profile picture to open your profile.
  2. Tap Edit profile.
  3. Scroll to Links and tap Edit (or Add).
  4. Choose Websites.
  5. Paste your NoTrouble link, then tap Save.

On a computer:

  1. Click your profile picture, then Edit profile.
  2. Find Contact and basic info under your About section.
  3. Under Websites and social links, click Add a website.
  4. Paste your NoTrouble link, then click Save.

Your link now sits in the links area of your profile. Since Facebook allows several, you can keep your NoTrouble link as the main one and let it carry the rest.

My pasted link opens the wrong page

A bio link that lands somewhere unexpected almost always means a typo crept in, or only part of the link was copied. Don't retype it. Copy it fresh: open the Share panel, tap Copy, wait for "Link copied to clipboard!", then paste again and replace the old text. Copying from the Share panel always grabs your full, correct link.

My link still looks long or messy

The link is built from your handle, which is the name part of your web address. If it reads oddly, your handle may not be set the way you want. You can change your handle in your profile settings, and the new link works right after you save. Paste the fresh link into each bio to replace the old one.

Seeing which bio sends you the most visits

Once your link is live in a few bios, you'll want to know which one pulls its weight. The Reports page is free on every plan and shows where your visitors come from, with friendly source names like "Instagram" or "Direct". It also lists your most-clicked links, so you can see what people tap once they arrive.
